Research Use Only (RUO) Policy

Every product Lineará offers is supplied strictly for scientific research, laboratory experimentation, and analytical purposes. By purchasing or using any material from this site, you acknowledge and agree that it is intended solely for lawful laboratory work.

Lineará materials are not intended for human or veterinary use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They must be handled only by qualified professionals in appropriate laboratory settings, and never used outside a lawful research environment.

A product designated “Research Use Only” (RUO) is a chemical or biological compound manufactured and supplied exclusively for laboratory research and analytical work.

RUO materials are not approved as drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, foods, or medical devices, and Lineará makes no representation that any product is safe or effective for any purpose other than controlled research.

Lineará operates in accordance with the United States regulations that apply to research materials. Every product is labeled “For Research Use Only — Not for Human or Veterinary Use,” consistent with 21 CFR 809.10(c).

Lineará materials are not compounded pharmacy preparations and fall outside the scope of Sections 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

By purchasing, you represent and agree that:

• You are a qualified research professional, or acting on behalf of a qualified research organization;
• You are at least 21 years of age;
• You possess the knowledge, training, and equipment required to handle, store, and dispose of research materials safely;
• You will use all materials solely for lawful research, in compliance with applicable laws and institutional protocols.

Lineará makes no medical, therapeutic, or health claims about any product. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and no dosing, administration, or usage guidance is provided for humans or animals.

Research materials must be handled by trained personnel using appropriate protective equipment and engineering controls. You are responsible for reviewing available safety information and following accepted laboratory practice for every compound you acquire.

Lineará is not liable for any use of its products outside lawful laboratory research. By purchasing, you assume all risk associated with the receipt, handling, storage, use, and disposal of research materials.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the version then in effect.
